Brunswick Stew

Ingredients:

2 small chickens
3 small potatoes quartered
1 large onion chopped
1 celery stalk chopped
1 can tomatoes
1 can lima beans
1 can corn
1 slice lemon
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon butter
Salt and Pepper to taste
Water to cover 1/2 chicken
Directions:

The day before,cut chicken into large pieces. Place in soup pot,cover half way with water, Add an additional onion  quartered and an additional stalk of celery greens if desired, salt and boil 1-2 hours to make a strong broth.  Remove cooked chicken from bones and reserve. The next day add all of the other ingredients to the broth and cook slowly for 2 hours. When done, add pieces of cooked chicken.
